Recently, I have been processing some of the images made during last month’s Photography Fine Art Summit in Page. These teepee sandstone formations are located a few miles from Page. I have driven past this location many times in the past without seeing these formations! Here is an image made just before sunrise.
Later the same day, I returned to the teepees for some images at sunset.
Following the summit, many of us attended Alain Briot’s workshop in Navajoland. After visiting Monument Valley, we headed to Canyon de Chelley. We arrived at Tsegi Overlook before dawn and waited for sunrise. I positioned myself above these rocks that I used as part of the foreround.
