The light at this time of the year is really amazing. When going to work, I passed by the Arapahoe Station buildings every day. Nearby buildings are reflected in the windows. I moved around until the reflections were fragmented into several pieces.
Later that day, I was in Lodo for one of the Meetup groups. The alley behind Casselmann’s has several murals. Recently they must have been refreshed with new images.
Farther along the alley, the artist made a really striking image of the lady and the flower.
The fountain at Arapahoe Station changes it height during the course of the day. Later in the week, the fountain had reached its peak height. I noticed reflections of the main fountain in the water at the base of the fountain and made this image.
As one moves around the fountains, the adjacent buildings are also reflected in the water at the base of the fountain. I like the abstract quality of the reflections in the image below.
The north-facing front of the Ciber building is in shadow at this time of the year. However, the lawn and hedgerow outside is in full sunlight. This is really very striking in the infra-red image below.
Finally, I made an image of the Tuscany Plaza building with avenue of trees lit up in their fall colors. This weak the moon has been waning. The crescent of the opening in the building reminded me of the phase of the moon for this week.
