Every year, I attempt to make some images of these fabulous plants. The &#8220;beard&#8221; of an Iris flower is always the most difficult to capture successfully. This year&#8230; success!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"647\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/matchgrun.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/3011-0001_006-Purple-Iris-With-Beard.jpg\" alt=\"3011-0001_006-Purple-Iris-With-Beard\" class=\"wp-image-9952\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Purple Iris, With Beard.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Focus stacking is one tool that allows one to capture details of the beard.
