Last weekend I chose a different route, where a bridge crosses one of the local &#8220;ditches&#8221;. Close by, there are several large sumac bushes that we covered with bright red berries.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"555\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/matchgrun.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2792-0002-Sumac-Berries-In-Winter.jpg\" alt=\"2792-0002-Sumac-Berries-In-Winter\" class=\"wp-image-9613\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sumac Berries In Winter.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Crossing the bridge, there is a collection of love locks attached to the bridge. Sometimes, I head down to the stream that flows though the gulch. Here that are some interesting rocks that have pink and gray coloring.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/matchgrun.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2792-0014-Rocks-In-Harvard-Gulch.jpg\" alt=\"2792-0014-Rocks-In-Harvard-Gulch\" class=\"wp-image-9615\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Rocks In Harvard Gulc<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The edges of the gulch are covered with long grasses that reach down to the water&#8217;s edge. Looking up the fence, there was a hint of blue sky behind mostly overcast skies. Close the the far edge, was a huge patch of snow and ice, that had been melting during the course for the day, forming a pool of water and ice.
