For yesterday and today, I headed down to the South Platte River, at Littleton to practice some more bird photography. Beside the river is a pond where couple of geese were preening themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hanging around here for a half hour, one goose looked towards me, allowing me the capture this image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This afternoon, a Red-Tailed Hawk was perched in one of the trees near the river bank, facing away from me. I continued to walk until I could get a better view and made this image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heading south along the river, there were several Buffelhead Ducks. These little ducks feed by diving to find food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the far bank, was a deer grazing among the grass. This deer had one horn that looked like it was deformed — growing forwards instead of upwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
