Let Sleeping Cones Lie – wk 3

Snow from that big snow storm has started to thaw. These cones have lied down to rest.

The snow has melted in the gardens to reveal underlying textures. Patterns come to life when rendered in monochrome.

Garden Patterns, Arapahoe Station

Adjacent to the station is a recently completed office building. This always looks blue. The building is actually silver but reflects the blue sky. This morning there was a hint of clouds remaining.

The thaw and freeze of the snow caused ice to form as puddles of water froze in depressions. Patterns in the ice are always interesting.
