New Year Revelry – wk 1

So Project-52 has started. Today was a typical Colorado winter sunny day. We still have snow and ice lying around from the Christmas snow storm. This afternoon, I meandered down to the Englewood light rail parking lot and wandered around the city center. Some signs of New Year’s celebration soon appeared.

Remains of New Year's revelry.

And here is the rest of the party!

Here are the missing fragments.

Wandering around some more… and found these sculptures.

Big SLICES of water melon?

Right up close, these pebbles were crushed.

Crushed by the slice.

Let’s see what’s hiding behind.

Behind the slice.

Exploring some more, I found this sculpture, swaying gently in the slow breeze.

Blue Eyes.

Here is another view.

Blue eyes in the sky.

Back to the light rail station. Here there are several bike storage lockers and bike rack.

Where's my wheel?

Looks like someone is missing a wheel. That one bike is not getting very far. Close by, an interesting feature was revealed.

Three buttons.

I spent more time photographing this afternoon. That can wait until another time. That’s all for now.
